when i was adding the blurb to my back cover i thought that the text looked a little bland without some kind of background because of this i decided to add some background white strips to encompass each line. it was supposed to create a typewritten strip effect which i thought fit in well with my font choice. adding some subtle angles made it look more fun and jaunty which related well with the angular positioning of my title.
