Initial Response to the brief

Initial thoughts

The subject matter is very broad so i decided to create a list of first responses to the phrase Co2 emissions, i separated them into consequences and ways to reduce these consequences:

Consequences
Global Warming
Rising sea levels
Extreme Temperatures
Floods, Droughts
Movement of species
Fossil Fuels
Non- renewable energy
Extinct species

Reduce consequences:
Recycle, Reuse, Reduce, Remake and Replace.
Eco bulbs
Wind Turbines
Solar Panels
Hydropower
Veggie patches, allotments and greenhouse
Biofuel
Going green
Eco friendly
Drive less
Less air miles
Reduce importing food
Tree planting
Biomass energy
Turning the power off

So far I'm fairly interested in alternative energy sources since I think that these are methods that the public can use and invest in now to create change. Visually these would also generate some more appealing and striking images that would work well within an animation. I am also drawn to growing your own vegetables as a concept since i also think that it is something that is  a method that is accessible to everyone. Animating the growth of these plants would also be a simple movement that I would find easier to generate since I'm not proficient in AE. I plan on investigating renewable energy sources  and food further to establish how I could animate them and how they relate to the themes evident within the brief.
